The smallest barometric altimeter with integrated variometer in the world!

We are glad to announce the arrival of this excellent new device to the market.

This news will be welcomed by all the lovers of paragliding, hang-gliders, ULL pilots and all others, who do not want to spend large sums for the IGC devices, and who need get to their navigation PNA devices informations about accurate barometric altitude.
GT altimeter is supported in programs LK8000 and XC Soar (version 6.4 and higher)

Why is the barometric altitude so important for navigation?
Barometric altitude is very important due to the structure of airspace. Restricted, dangerous and prohibited areas are verticaly defined by the ISA (http://www.hyperflite.co.uk/isa-conditions.html) at atmospheric pressure 1013.25 hPa. Depending on changes of atmospheric pressure, the boundaries of these areas can move vertically as well as hundreds of meters.
In practice, therefore, this situation may occur:
You flying under some prohibited area, such as is some flight corridor.  According to the GPS altitude you can assume that the space is above you, but in fact you infringed this space, and you are already 250 meters in it.
Keep in mind that you endanger not only your own life, but also the lives of many others people. Read a nice article on this subject here:

For all who are not indifferent to these questions we bring a solution:
